Who is eLabs for?

Everyone. Well, everyone who’s interested in making source materials more accessible and discoverable, and everyone who’s interested in exploring and discussing the tools, considerations, and methods involved in that work. Our community includes archivists, librarians, students, genealogists, local and family historians, community center volunteers and members, and many others.

If you are trying to figure out the goals, methods of practice, or tools for your project, eLabs is for you. If you just want to connect with other practitioners or share information about your project, eLabs is for you.

If you want to learn more about how to preserve some family documents you’ve uncovered; if you want to see examples of other projects centered around community archives; if you want to discuss how to highlight underused materials in your archival collection like a set of poems, photos, or periodicals; if… well, you get the idea! eLabs is for you.
