eLaboratories is committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and professional online community. Our social media spaces—including Instagram, BlueSky, and Slack—are places for meaningful discussions, collaboration, and sharing knowledge about documentary editing, recovery, and digital humanities.

Before joining, please review our Community Guidelines:

  • Be Respectful – Engage with others professionally and courteously. Harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks will not be tolerated.
  • Stay On Topic – Discussions should relate to documentary editing and recovery, historical research, and digital scholarship.
  • No Spam or Self-Promotion – Sharing resources is welcome, but excessive self-promotion or unrelated solicitations are not allowed.
  • Respect Privacy – Do not share confidential, personal, or copyrighted materials without permission.
  • Follow Slack’s Terms of Service – By joining, you agree to abide by Slack’s policies and our community rules.

To maintain a respectful and productive space, we enforce a three-strike policy:

  • First Strike – A warning from moderators.
  • Second Strike – Temporary 7-day restriction from posting or participation.
  • Third Strike – Removal from the Slack workspace.
