I am an Assistant Professor of English at Howard University. My research specializes in nineteenth-century African American Literature, particularly Black women's writing, archives, and organizing during the late nineteenth- and early twentieth-centuries. I am currently the co-project coordinator of the Black Women's Organizing Archive (BWOA), a digital project that seeks to bring together the scattered archives of nineteenth- and early twentieth-century Black women organizers and create online research and teaching resources.
